It is unbelievably amazing how a geographer (like sir) is explaining the concepts by going into the roots of it. No other book or teacher in my knowledge ever mentioned Sartre while explaining existentialism because he was simply a Philosopher ( a Marxist philosopher in post-World War scenario) who was trying to comprehend life in the devasted world in aftermath of World War 2.
Sartre even rejected the Nobel Prize in Literature saying accepting any awards would go against his personal convictions!
Thank you for explaining concepts with such clarity!
