According to data provided by the Uttarakhand Forest Department, a total of 575 incidents of forest fires have been reported across the state in the last 6 months, affecting 689.89 hectares of land. At least two persons have been injured in the fire and an estimated loss of Rs 14.41 lakh has been reported so far.
